I set off late. The day was long and I really wanted to get to the top to see the sunset. I packed some provisions, a thick jacket and a headlamp. After dinner, I set off straight away and climbed up. Within an hour I was at the top, it was breathtaking. A light cool wind swept over the ridge. The last rays of sun shone in my face. Beauty in every direction. Above me a ghost appeared in the sky. Its sickle-like shape, the moon rose.
When the sun had cast its last rays on this part of the earth, it became pitch black. I put on my headlamp and started back. I knew the way well and was soon back at my cabin.
